The Never-Fading Poppy Project is a student-led, not-for-profit organization, established in 2020 in Lexington MA. We focus on sending handmade cards to local veterans in our community in hopes of spreading a message of love and appreciation through art.

Locations: Recently, we have expanded to various other towns within MA, and established branches in California, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida

Card-Making Events: During four major holiday events (MLK Day, Patriot’s Day, July 4th, and Veterans Day), participants can create cards containing personalized messages and drawings specific to each holiday. Participants are also welcome to create general thank you cards throughout the year for veterans that are given periodically.

In-Person Events: On the past two Memorial Days, NFPP held workshops to create a poppy memorial at the center of downtown Lexington. The memorial contained over 2,000 handmade paper poppies.

NFPP participants also partake in numerous parades throughout the year including the annual Lexington Veterans Day Parade.
